Snowbasin Resort Unveils Plans for New Beginner Lift For Immediate Release:
Contact: April 21, 2008 Snowbasin Resort will begin construction in June on a detachable quad chair lift. The new chairlift will replace the Little Cat lift which services beginning terrain. The bottom terminal will be located above Earl’s Lodge and the upper terminal will end at the upper parking lot. Length will be 1800 feet with a vertical rise of 167 feet with a carrying capacity of 2400 people per hour. The new lift will better accommodate the beginning skier with less intimidation related to the downhill skier traffic and ease of loading and unloading.
