There is nothing as sweet as summer in the mountains! While it
is sweltering in the valley, the climate at Snowbasin's high
elevations is perfect. The dry, invigorating and crystal-clear
skies provide cool breezes and a warm sun for all to enjoy. The
wildflowers form a colorful blanket over the slopes, and the
aspen leaves gleam in the wind.
What better way to enjoy all this scenery then with a picnic!
The trail map indicates various sites around the mountain that
are ideal rest areas where you can stop to catch your breath,
enjoy a picnic, or simply contemplate nature. Picnic tables are
available at a few of these sites. Trail maps indicating the
picnic areas are available in the Grizzly Center or for download
at the Trail Maps page.
