Construction of the resort's newest, high-speed lift is well underway!

The addition of DeMoisy Express was announced in December with the promise of doubling the uphill capacity to Snowbasin’s popular Strawberry side of the resort through the six-chair, highspeed installation, expected to be complete ahead of the 2023-24 ski season. This highly-anticipated project is moving along with the help of helicopters that have been on site helping bring in additional supplies and pour concrete for the lift towers.

The lifts bottom terminal will be positioned near the existing Strawberry Gondola bottom terminal, while the top terminal will drop passengers in a wind-protected area above Dan’s Run. Through this strategic placement, Snowbasin will be able to enhance the uphill availability of this region, provide multiple options for skiers and riders into the Strawberry area, and allow access to this varied and sought-after terrain more frequently throughout the season. Additional benefits include the creation of new trails, more convenient access to the main base area and additional capacity to relieve congestion in the Strawberry area on busier days.
