Thanks to the seasonal shift and cooler temps in northern Utah, Snowbasin officially fired up the snowmaking guns for the season. With just a couple of weeks away from opening, the snowmaking is helping lay down a solid layer for Mother Nature to build upon ahead of what is shaping up to be another incredible season.
Over the summer, Snowbasin went to work leveling up its snowmaking system. With pipe and wire replacements and gun repositioning, the resort is well prepared to help Mother Nature carry the load as we gear up for opening. Here is a look at Snowbasin's snowmaking by the numbers:
