29029 is back again this summer from August 8th to 11th in their quest to climb Snowbasin 13 times to reach the equalivent elevation gain as Mt. Everest. During the event, all trails will remain open for hiking, biking, and sightseeing, but trail users must yield to athletes competing in the event, with several yield signs placed around the mountain and on the trails. Learn more >

During 29029, Needles Gondola will be closed to the public on Friday, August 9th. It will reopen for normal operations on Saturday, August 10th, and Sunday, August 11th, from 9am to 4pm. Earls Lodge will be open Sunday from 11am to 3pm for food and drinks. The Grizzly Center and Wildflower Mini Golf will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 4pm and Needles Lodge will be open for food and drinks on Saturday from 11am to 3pm and for mountain-top brunch on Sunday from 10am to 2pm.
