Snowbasin Resort is ushering in a new season with the announcement of its 2024 summer offerings. Guests will be welcomed back to the mountain beginning Saturday, June 15, to enjoy the resort’s vast lineup of weekend activities, including the return of Blues & Brews, an expanded SnowWiesn Oktoberfest, gondola-assisted biking and hiking and themed dining.

Snowbasin’s public summer services and offerings include:
Gondola Access: Needles Gondola will run on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from June 15 to October 6 for guests to enjoy sightseeing experiences or lift-served hiking and biking trails. Tickets are now available online, plus Snowbasin Premier Pass Holders will receive summer gondola access through the purchase of their annual season pass.
Mountain Biking & Hiking Trails: Snowbasin provides guests access to over 20 trails spanning 26 miles that can be accessed by foot, bike, or gondola. With continued trail enhancements, bikers and hikers can explore the 3,000 acres spanning Snowbasin. Due to high snowfall again this past winter, upper-mountain trails may be delayed. Mountain-Top Brunch: Snowbasin’s elevated dining experience will return to Needles Lodge starting on Father’s Day, June 16 with an elevated Sunday Brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. After a brief ride on Needles Gondola, guests can enjoy patio seating and views from 8,700 feet up. The resort’s all-you-can-eat expansive brunch buffet features award-winning dining with stations providing waffles, freshly carved meats, omelets, elaborate desserts and more. Brunch reservations are recommended and can be made online.
Saturday Lunch: Fuel up at Earl’s Lodge on Saturdays in June and July from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., plus enjoy expanded service from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during SnowWiesn Oktoberfest starting August 17. Guests can dine in the grand setting of Earl’s Lodge, or enjoy our slopeside tables on Earl’s Plaza.
Mini-Golf: The family-friendly 18-hole Wildflower Mini-Golf Course, located at the resort’s base area, between Needles Gondola and John Paul Express, will be accessible to visitors on Saturdays and Sundays during summer operations or daily for private events. Tickets are available at the resort or online at snowbasin.com.
Returning this season with an expanded lineup are the resort’s popular musical festivals. Each features live music, themed food, and local breweries. Tickets can be purchased online, while Premier Pass Holders continue to receive free entry. A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to the Ogden Valley Land Trust and GOAL Foundation to support their respective missions to enhance local communities.
Blues & Brews: The long-standing summer festival returns on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the first event kicking off on Father’s Day on June 16. It’ll take place most Sundays until August 4 with a mix of local and regional artists. Learn More >
SnowWiesn Oktoberfest: Previously taking place on only Sundays, Snowbasin has expanded this popular event to now take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. between August 17 and October 6. This increased operating window will result in approximately triple the quantity of dates to see incredible fall foliage and enjoy Snowbasin’s Bavarian-themed festival. Learn More >
Snowbasin will also be hosting a plethora of large-scale events this season, including Ragnar Road, Spartan Race, and 29029 Everesting. With last year’s addition of a new outdoor venue, the Overlook Deck, Snowbasin has the perfect mix of places to host weddings, corporate events, photoshoots, or family gatherings.
