Huntsville, UT – October 29, 2024 – Snowbasin Resort is celebrating its recent victory as the No. 1 resort in SKI Magazine’s highly anticipated 2025 Reader’s Resort Guide.
This designation marks the second consecutive year Snowbasin has ranked in the top two, further cementing its place as one of the best resorts in the country. The annual guide is based on the results of the Reader’s Resort Survey, the most comprehensive and credible rankings in the world of skiing.
The annual guide consists of 15 categories that evaluate the guest experience at each resort. This year, Snowbasin ranked in the top 10 in 12 of these categories, a true testament to the resort’s exceptional, well-rounded mountain experience. The results reflect the first-hand experience of visitors and serve as valuable resource for skiers planning their trip to the slopes each season.

Snowbasin has ranked among the top 15 resorts in the West for four consecutive years, earning No. 8 (2022), No. 14 (2023), No. 2 (2024), No. 1 (2025).
As the 2024-25 season approaches, Snowbasin has announced multiple investments to amplify the overall guest experience, in the form of refurbished gondola cabins, a highly anticipated upgrade to Becker Chairlift, increased parking, and additional round-trip transportation from Salt Lake City.
